If you’ve used Twitter before you probably already know that it’s a great tool for chatting amongst friends and fellow online business owners. For those who haven’t let’s start out with how to get started with Twitter.
First, you must sign up for your own Twitter account or page. The service is free to use and takes just a few minutes to get going. Simply go to www.twitter.com and sign up. When you set up your account don’t forget to fill in your website’s URL and a tid-bit about yourself or your business in the profile.
The next step is to begin following other Twitter users. There are a few ways you can do this. You can either save their pages to your web browser bookmarks or, and this way is easier, once you’ve found their page simply click the “Follow” button under their name. This will allow you to see their posts, or tweets. Now you’ll need to let others know that you have joined Twitter so that they can follow your updates as well. You can do this by telling your list subscribers, posting about Twitter on your blog, and more. There are even scripts you can add to your blog or website that will retrieve your most recent tweets and post them for your visitors to see.
You have the ability to use your Twitter page to see what’s happening with others or you can even download applications such as Twhirl that will allow you to have instant messaging style software on your computer to see all your posts and the posts of those you follow.
Now that you’re all set up simply login to your Twitter page or open up your Twhirl software and start sending messages. Just as with any social networking site such as forums or message boards, Twitter can easily take big chunks of your time if not monitored carefully. This is one reason it would be wise to devote a set amount of time per day to network with it. A good starting point would be around 15 minutes each day. You can easily plan this with your morning email check and cup of coffee or at the end of the day.
Anytime something interesting is going on in your business, whether it’s a site change, a product launch or even a special post to your blog, use Twitter to let your followers know. As with any marketing tool, don’t just bombard Twitter with your links. Be personable and establish your expertise in your niche. Be friendly and observant to others as well and you’ll go far with Twitter.
You may not see results from your twittering efforts immediately and that’s ok. The important thing is to begin to get your name recognized and be a regular contributor. The more post and incorporate the service into your daily business routine, the more recognized you’ll become. People will want to know what’s going on with you and your business and in time, you’ll be linked to over and over again by other users.

Twitter, Tweeps, and Tweets oh my!
If you find yourself in a position that you need to understand your target customer as well as keep up with various ways of marketing to those potential customers, Twitter is one of the most powerful and popular tools out there right now! This new type of network communication has been taken up by companies and individuals alike in recent months and for good reason.
To get a better understanding of Twitter, let’s first take a look at the format. Essentially, Twitter is a program that allows you to make very small, public posts. Because these posts are so limited (they max out at 140 characters) they can easily be sent to a number of different locations all at once. When you have written a Twitter, it can appear on the twitter website, on short message services, instant messaging sites or even on third-party applications like Facebook or Twitterific. Folks can even add a script to their blog or website to show their most recent posts and the posts of others! Your Twitter messages, also known tweets, will appear to anyone who has chosen to follow your updates.
There are several advantages to this type of communication. The first thing that you will discover is that it allows for a much more immediate relay of information. The shortness of the message forces you to be very brief, and this alone can create interest in those reading. Because tweets are so short, they often lead to frequent posting, which is excellent when you are looking to communicate with people and to get to know them. While Twitter is, by default, public, you can restrict the people who see your material with the ease of checking a box in your profile.
You will find that not only can you post tweets, you can also receive them. Once again, the immediate nature of this service lends greatly to its appeal. Want to follow someone’s updates and see what they are up to with their business or life in general? Simply sign into your Twitter account, type in their Twitter address or username and click the “Follow” button. That’s all there is to it.
The amount of time that spent reading the messages is very short, and you can be in contact with people a great deal more than you otherwise might be. In essence, you can get to know each other much more quickly than if you were just reading each others blogs or profiles. The look and feel of an instant messaging service helps add to this ability. Think about it for a minute, do you feel more connected to those on your messenger list than the blogs you read? Twitter is the same way.
For many, whether they are looking for friends, clients, or someone to help them out with a problem or workload, getting in touch with others is important. With Twitter it has never been easier!

What Is Twitter And How Do I Use It?
1. It’s Short, Sweet & To the Point
Have you ever heard the phrase, less is more? You’ll find that one of the best things about Twitter is that it keeps all messages very short and sweet. You’ll have to give your customers and clients the gist of what is going on in short tweets (messages similar to instant messages) that allow their interest to be piqued in such a way as to make them investigate further. You won’t bother them with long-winded messages that make them yawn and move on. Instead, you will be able to catch their attention quickly and make them want to know more.
2. Immediacy
Much like a blog or an RSS feed, you can get access to the people that use Twitter regularly. In some ways, this is like making sure that you can reach them no matter where they are, and you will find that this is very important when you want to make marketing one of your biggest priorities. You are making sure that they have all of the latest updates to what you are doing and what’s going on by simply sending a tweet their way.
3. Everyone’s Doing It
In many ways, Twitter is a social program more than it is a marketing one, and you’ll find that using Twitter can help you feel a great deal closer to your client base and other’s in your online community. If you are looking to make sure that they see you as a person rather than as simply a company or service, you’ll find that Twitter encourages them to think of you as someone they can get to know. This can be very important when it comes to establishing a customer base and customer loyalty.
4. You Get to Hear a Lot
Remember that it goes both ways; you can put information out on Twitter and you can also learn a lot too. By following other’s Twitter accounts, especially if it looks like they have a lot to offer, you can keep in the know about various products, services, and other happenings online. This can be a great way to keep an eye on what is going on in order to keep yourself in the know of your industry.
5. Make Them Laugh
You can also use Twitter to tease people a little bit, in a fun way, of course! When you use Twitter, you have to keep your messages short, and in many ways, a little mysterious. Pique their interest, joke around, and you’ll find that you gain a lot more followers and hopefully website traffic and customers as a result.
Be warned, just as with any other social networking site, Twitter can quickly become addicting if you let it. Don’t go overboard and get so involved in all the tweeting that it takes away from your intended purpose. Used wisely Twitter can be a great and powerful marketing tool to help create online business success.

Left Right Home Party Game
It is called the left, right game; Wrap a small gift of some sort. Nothing expensive. Hand it to the hostess and tell everyone your playing the left and right game. Each time they hear the WORDS left or right they must pass that gift to the person on their left…or to the person… on their right. and the one holding the gift in the end wins.
Here it is:
I left the house right on time to get to _____________’s house. I had everything I needed to set up my display the right way, and place our wonderful products right before your eyes. My first turn was to the right, and then I turned left. Then I had to turn right, right again, and then left. I hoped that I remembered the right way to get to here. After I made the lefts and the rights, I found that my memory was right on target. I was right where I needed to be, here at __________’s house. As I unloaded the car, I checked to make sure nothing was left behind. Putting one bag on my left shoulder and holding another with my right hand, I approached the door. Knocking with my right hand, I waited for ___________ to answer. After I set my samples down on the left of the room and my display items on the right, I was ready to start passing the samples. I say, “Please sample these products on your left hand and arm.” As each item was introduced, I handed it to the person on my right, who passed it to the right and so on. Once you have sampled the high quality products, please open your catalogs right away. There are so many awesome products on each page….make sure you look on the left side AND the right so you don’t miss a single one! I am going to begin passing around products to sample right now. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have at any time. Now, let’s congratulate the winner. She is patiently waiting to the left of whoever is holding the prize. I know you are all envious, because YOU wanted to win that prize, right? RIGHT! (the game does not stop till they do the last two right, rights)
Great fun!

Increase Sales By 200%!
How to Increase Your Home Business Party Sales By 200%By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Earl_Taylor]Earl Taylor
Many home businesses depend on home parties to sell their products and their business.
If you are in one of these businesses, then you know that it is frustrating to have a home party where you do not make any sales. Because of this, you are constantly looking for ways to increase home business party sales so that you can make your business successful.
First, make sure that you believe in your product. Most of the home business party sales you make are due almost entirely to your enthusiasm about your product line. If you cannot convey this enthusiasm in a sincere manner, you are going to struggle to bring in sales.
Another way to increase home business party sales is through building relationships with the people at the party. If they learn to like you as a person, instead of viewing you simply as a salesperson, they are more likely to buy something from you.
Also, if they feel a kinship with you as the business owner, they will be more likely to make a repeat sale after the party is over. These are the customers you really like, so work at building those relationships while you are giving your party.
Don’t ignore the hostess at her home party! Remember, the hostess gets free items for having the party, but she probably will spend more money on top of this as well. Make sure that you make her feel important as your hostess, as this will encourage her to continue to spend money with your business.
With these tips, you can quickly and easily increase your home business party sales!

Convert Every Visitor Into A Customer
If a person visits your website and leaves, chances are that he or she will not come back, especially if there are no compelling reasons to do so. After all, we all behave rather impulsively on the Internet, so much so that we can easily forget where we were 10 web pages ago.
But the bottom line is that your visitor may not come back to your website again. If 1,000 visitors visit your website, leave and never come back again, you can imagine the amount of potential revenue lost, simply because they do not come back. You could have converted a fraction of the visitors into your customers.
Some may say that creating unique content can keep some of the visitors coming back, but very often, unique content is not the solution. The real, long-term solution lies in converting your visitors into subscribers of your mailing list.
Before your visitor leaves your website, you want to convert him or her into your subscriber via a simple opt-in to your mailing list. You do this by asking for your visitor’s name and email address through your opt-in form.
And if your visitor signs up to be on your mailing list, you can still follow up with him via email. You can get your subscriber to consider your offer, or endorse another offer to him or her.
All in all, you want to convert as many visitors into subscribers as possible and obtain the potential revenue you rightfully deserve – the easy, wise way. To capture these visitor you will need an autoresponder. I have said it before and I will say it again, one of the best businesses in the autoresponder business is aWeber. They are the best you will ever find at customer service, it just doesn’t get any better.
So, if you want to start an opt-in list I would say go check out aWeber now, they even let you try their service for 30 days Free, just to see if you will love it!

Booking Idea
Hand out door prize slips to each guest, asking for their info and if they would like to book a show or join your business. While they are filling out your slips suggest that anyone who said yes or maybe to booking a show can get a free gift with their order tonight if you date your show tonight. This really helps getting guests booked and often, a guest who said “no” will change their mind to get a free gift (everybody loves something for free). Even if she still says no, you have her information and can call her when you have a great special to offer!

Home Party Plan Business
Home Based Party BusinessBy [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Charles_Fuchs]Charles Fuchs
Starting your own home based party business begins with determining your niche. Take a look at what types of parties you like to throw or what aspects of parties you like to plan in order to choose a home based party business. You want your home based party business to be something you enjoy, so look closely at why you like parties.
For instance, if you love to plan large parties, consider starting a home based party business that focuses on reunions, weddings, or other large events. If large parties are not your thing, you can focus on organizing small get-togethers or cocktail functions for your home based party business. Many people who love parties can create a home based party business that makes specialized party favors, cakes, or other items for parties.
A home based party business does take some specific skills. In order to plan events effectively, you need to learn time management for both your business and your events. Many vendors and clients that you will work with in your home based party business will need specific timelines. You will also need to be very detail oriented in your home based party business. Many of your clients will want specific items or results from their events, so you need to be able to produce those results in your home based party business.
Creativity is also a major part of your home based party business. While one client may be inspired by another client’s theme party, you will need to give each of them a unique experience. Also, you will need to think quickly on your feet and be patient. Running a home based party business usually means that you will be relying on other vendors to supply you with party related items, and sometimes they are late or do not deliver. For instance, if your home based party business plans weddings, what will you do if the cake never shows up or the bride’s dress rips?
Running a home based party business means planning ahead and seeing the big picture.
Still, while you are focusing on pleasing everyone else in your home based party business, you need to make sure you take some time out just for you. Make sure you schedule time for you to live your life, or your home based party business might just turn out to be a big party pooper for you rather than the ball of fun you wanted it to be. If you find yourself getting caught up in the planning, make sure you force yourself to take some time off. You’ll appreciate it later, and your friends and family will appreciate it more, too.

Great Idea For A Blog, No Longer Enough
If you can fill a unique need in a way that no other web site does, you’ll be able to build a lasting readership among web surfers. Once you have discovered a niche, you will still have a lot to do, but finding your place in the blogosphere is the place to begin.
Every great blogging web site starts with a great idea, and you can’t build a successful site that will last without one. There are many great sites aimed at today’s bloggers, and competition for the attention of this growing demographic is fierce. To make your blogging web site stand out from the pack, you will need to offer something that no other site is currently offering, or you will need to do the same thing that an already popular site does but in a more impressive or valuable way.
One way to discover an ideal model for your blogging web site is to look at the sites that have successfully captured a blogging audience already to determine if you can appropriate some of their strategies to help realize your vision. Of course, you will also need to add a unique flair to your project in order to stand apart from your competition.
Many people agree that the web sites that do the best in today’s market are the sites that have the most personality. The fiercely individual surfers who are bloggers are a demographic that responds especially strongly to personality, so consider how you can give your site a unique and attractive feeling by lending your own voice and sensibility to your site’s design and content.
Once you have a great idea for your site, have pinpointed a special niche that you are well equipped to fill, and have infused the site with personality, the next step is figuring out how to get the word out to bloggers. In the long run, a great idea just isn’t enough to propel your blogging web site to success. You will need to draft a smart and realistic marketing plan in order to draw readers to your site. Once you hook a blogger, your great content will keep them coming back, but it is
vital to get that first glance or your site won’t have a chance to shine.

Home Party Plan Game
It is called Pass That Gift; It is an easy and fun game to play. Pick a gift and wrap it (you could use a discount on a product to, just put a card in a box and wrap it). Take a minute to introduce yourself then hand the gift to 1 person. Now have them follow the directions that follow. The last one with the gift in hand wins.
Usually the gift makes it through many different hands and this gives everybody a chance to get to know each other a little better.
You thought all the gifts were meant for you. But I have other items too.
So hold up this gift and look around, and give it to the one with eyes of brown.
You think you are the lucky one, but let us all share in the fun!
Look around with eyes discreet, and give it to the one with the smallest feet.
Your feet are tiny and very small. Now hand it to someone very tall.
Please, take your time and don't be harried. Give it to the one who is longest married.
You must be proud of your married life, now pass this on to the newest wife.
Of this parcel you are bereft, give it to the one on your left.
The largest earring I'm looking for now, if you're wearing them, step up with a bow.
Now to the person with buttons-- big or small, any kind, the most you can find gets the gift at this time.
Now don't get cross and please don't fight, but pass it to the lady third on the right.
We should stop now, don't you agree? The gift is yours to open and see.
This game is just so much fun and so many people get to have the gift, and of course want the game to end while they have the gift in their hand!

Cons Of Publishing Your Own Ezine
I am not here to scare you away from publishing your own home party plan newsletter, jut to inform. The benefits of publishing your own ezine far out way the disadvantages. What I will you here, is how you can easily tackle the cons.
One obvious challenge most beginning eZine publishers face is the creation of eZine content. Creating your own content can be tiresome, especially if you don’t consider yourself a writer and you run out of ideas every so often for your ezine.
This really is the easiest of all the cons to overcome as there are numerous Private Label Rights companies out there that sell quality articles, that will not break the bank.
I can name two right off the top of my head that I use and would recommend to anyone. 1. EasyPLR.com by Nicole Dean has some of the best article topics and quality articles around, the price for her packets are very reasonable and she only sells a small number of the same packet, so, you won’t see the same article plastered all over the Internet. 2. All Private Label Content is another great site. This site is run by two great ladies who know how to write articles that grab people’s attention. Their articles are also very reasonably priced.
Also, you always want to create your content in advance. You can compile 7 days worth of content in one day, for example. Alternatively, you can republish articles from article directories such as http://ezinearticles.com. This is a free method you can use in making content, provided you include the resource box of the original author and that the article has republishing rights conveyed.
So you see, you can easily tackle the content creation challenge using the above methods and they do not require writing on your part, so, if you don’t see yourself as or writer or you run out of ideas for your ezine this should not stop you from putting out your own ezine for you home party plan business.

Pros To Publishing an Ezine
The most obvious reason publishing an eZine can be the most ideal business to you is that it is so easy to start that any individual can do. There is no need to invest in starting a brick and mortar business or even staff and heavy machines for that matter.
In fact, you can do this from the comfort of your home as the most important thing you will need is an auto responder equipped with broadcast feature. Auto responders such as GetResponse.com and aWeber.com are highly recommended when it comes to publishing your own eZine.
In spite of the low start up cost and monthly fees, you can make money from several profit centers within the spaces of your eZine issues. You can make money from selling advertising space, just to name one.
Most importantly, you get to build your own personal media and spread your marketing influence, making you more valuable to product and service owners thus do not be surprised if you receive Joint Venture proposals every so often.
Given some of the best reasons in the world of Internet Marketing, publishing your own periodical eZine can one of the best money vehicles you will ever acquire or even build. This is just one other way to make money in your home party plan business, if you would like more ideas or help building your home party plan business, please visit my website at www.pinkrenegade.com

Churning Out Content For Your Ezine
However, regardless of any topic you are publishing on, types of contents can be generally divided into four categories, namely; factual content, short tips, mini stories and case studies.
Other than writing your own content, you can get your own unique content the quick and easy way by organizing an interview with an expert or leader in the topic you are writing about. Very often, this can be done for free and since the interviewee is giving you the content, there is nothing else for you to do other than giving the interviewee something of value in exchange (maybe a meal!).
Now if you have money to spare, you can hire a ghostwriter to write your content for you without taking any credit. I can recommend professional marketplaces where you can seek ghostwriters include http://www.elance.com/ and http://www.rentacoder.com/.
Another little known and underused method in getting your own content is via public domains. If you are not familiar with the term “public domain”, “public domain” simply means anything that is NOT protected under US copyright law. This includes ALL works published before 1923 and, under certain conditions, works published up to 1978. And in this case, we are referring “works” to written materials such as reports, articles and books. Republishing and repackaging public domain information can help you save time and effort from creating new ideas and content as they are readily available. On top of that, you do not have to pay royalties or copyright fees on that work.
If you fancy the idea of publishing content without any writing on your part, this method is for you. For more ideas on how to start or run your own home party plan business visit my website at www.pinkrenegade.com

Bare Minimum Needed To Start An Ezine!
Content. You can compile weeks of content in advance and slowly dispense them to your subscribers. For example, you can compile 100 short tips in one day and dispense 10 tips once a week. In other words, you can compile 10 weeks worth of content in just one day! Simple enough right?
Auto responder. Your auto responder is your asset. You need an auto responder to send your emails and eZine issues to your subscribers and store your data base of people subscribed to your newsletter. Some recommended auto responders include GetResponse.com and aWeber.com.
Website. You may be surprised that this is actually an optional component. In short, there are eZine publishers publishing their newsletters without a website! But of course, having your own website can offer you tremendous advantages, such as the ability to bring in more subscribers and having your newsletter indexed in the top Search Engines.
These are the things you need to get started on publishing your own home party plan eZine at its bare minimum. I know of several eZine publishers today who are succeeding quite well with only an auto responder and content, without a website. And you can, too!
